Paula Sue McCollum

April 14, 1973 ~ February 14, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Paula McCollum, who was born on April 14, 1973, and peacefully left this world on February 14, 2025. She resided in Guntown, MS.

Paula was the beloved daughter of Paul and Betty McCollum. She did not have any children of her own, but she was a cherished sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Paula’s favorite thing to do was spread the love of Jesus. She dedicated her life to serving others and sharing her faith with everyone she met. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Unfortunately, Paula’s life was cut short due to an extended illness caused by cancer. Despite her struggles, she remained strong in her faith and inspired those around her with resilience and unwavering spirit.

Paula will be remembered for her selflessness, her faith, and her unwavering devotion to her beliefs. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the lives of so many and left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Betty McCollum of Guntown, MS. Her sister, Heather (Justin) Sullivan, of Belmont MS. Her nieces, Madison Sullivan of Belmont, Hannah Campbell of Belmont, and Karsyn Sullivan of Belmont. Her nephew, Reed Thomas Sullivan of Belmont, MS. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved dearly.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Thomas and Annie McCollum of Tupelo, MS and Archie and Emma Floyd of Guntown, MS. Her uncles, Buddy McCollum, Billy McCollum, Bobby McCollum, Earl Floyd, and Johnny Floyd. Her aunts, Agnes McCollum, Pearlie McCollum, Vernell McCollum, Jane Floyd, Mary Floyd and Lynn Floyd.

Services will be at Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn, MS on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Visitation will be from 12-2, with the funeral to follow. Bro. Steve Johnson and Bro. Mike Sanders will be officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
