Pam grew up in Manistee Michigan and loved small town life. Her parents owned a steak house and she waited tables there during high school and her college years. She moved to Atlanta Georgia in 1971 with her husband, for his career in the gasoline industry where she lived the major part of her adult life. She was a devout Catholic, attending daily Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven GA for over 40 years. She was and avid tennis player, playing on several teams over the years at the Blackburn and Brittany Clubs until she broke her hip and then her daily exercise was Water Aerobics at the Ashford YMCA. Although she had no formal training, she had a good eye for decorating her home and spent many weekends scouring Flea Markets and Estate Sales in search of items she could use in her home or sell in her consignment ventures. In her later years, she and her husband Paul moved to Oxford Mississippi, the home of their eldest daughter, as their health began to decline, After Paul passed away, Pam moved into Assisted Living at the Magnolia at Oxford Commons. She adapted very well to her new environment making a lot of new friends and attending church services at St. John’s Catholic Church and periodically, First Baptist Church where she was embraced by the Karis 1 Ladies Sunday School Class. Pam was active and loved life and will be missed by all who knew her.
