Dorothy Dobbs
Baldwyn- Dorothy Dobbs, 86, passed away at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility on Thursday, May 08, 2025. Dorothy had a servant’s heart and she loved her Lord and family. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, listening to gospel music, going to church and she always had a smile for everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2025 @ 11:00 a. m. with Bro. Toby Mears and Bro. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will be in Marietta Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Rogers of Shannon; sons, Terry Smith (Christy) of Batesville and Paul Smith of Baldwyn; host of grandchildren and other family and friends; two special friends that she loved like her own children, Kenny and Nita Davis of New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Sidney Dobbs; her parents, Everett and Mattie Patterson Massey; two sisters and one brother; three children, Jimmy Smith, Rita Russell and Steve Smith.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home, Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a. m.
