Evelyn McDonald Gentry
Blue Springs- Evelyn McDonald Gentry, 94 passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at her residence. She enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles, planting flowers, gardening and working in her yard, also she liked spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 @3:00 p.m. with Bro. Josh Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Pam Gentry of Blue Springs: Special nephew, Mike and Vickie Gentry: three Grandchildren, Stephanie Gentry, Kim Gentry, Jackie and Nicole Hill: five great-grandchildren, Claudia Hill, Jackson Hill, Claire Hill, Clara Short, Greyson Short and Sister-in-law Linda McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents Travis and Christine Roberts McDonald; Her husband, Billy Gentry; Daughter Kay Gentry Hill, son Jimmy Gentry and her brother Charles McDonald
Pallbearers will be Jackson Hill, Chris Crump, Will Gentry, Caiden Wilburn, Terry George and Eddie George.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
