Mrs. Judy Kaye “BoBo” Phillips, 76, died Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her home in Oxford. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Inmon officiating. Visitation be prior to the service beginning at 12:30 with burial following the service in Shiloh Cemetery.
Judy was born on June 18, 1949, in Oxford, MS to the late John Robert and Sammy White Mayfield. She was a longtime member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS and spent her career in healthcare where she worked as an EMT/Paramedic for the Tate County Emergency Medical Services. At her retirement, Judy was serving as Director of Tate County EMS. Following retirement, she enjoyed more time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mr. David B. Phillips, Sr.; a daughter, Melinda Yount (Jason) of Oxford; a son, David Bradley Phillips, Jr. of Oxford; five grandchildren, Megan (Michael), Ryan, Kaylee, Anna and Sierra and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Miley.
