Wheeler – Ryan Brown, 49, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Ryan was a member of Wheeler Baptist Church and graduated from Wheeler High School in 1995. He worked for Savings Oil as an area leader for many years. He was an avid Ole Miss football fan and enjoyed riding four wheelers and fishing with his nephews. He, also, enjoyed spending time with extended family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn Brown, daughter Kate Brown, sister Emily DeVoss (Gary), nephews Brody & Gage DeVoss, grandmother Peggy Ryan, and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry Brown, grandfather Nelson Ryan, and grandparents Preston & Myrtie Brown.
Water’s Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of his arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28th from 5:00 – 8:00. A private graveside service, honoring Ryan’s life, will be held at Prentiss Memorial Gardens at a later date.
