Mrs. Barbara Osborn Kastner, 73, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. A visitation will be held at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch (6815 Parkview Blvd., Olive Branch) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery-Midtown (1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106). Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kastner cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, as they meant the world to her. She was a dedicated follower of Christ and believed in service to her church by being a faithful member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church. Mrs. Kastner enjoyed making a joyful noise unto the Lord with her singing and was fond of the sound of a piano both in and out of church.
Mrs. Kastner leaves behind her son, James H. Chunn, Jr., of Southaven; daughter, Debbie Johnson of Southaven; and sister, Lois Jackson of Germantown, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kastner; and parents, Robert J. Osborn, Sr., and Ena Sills Osborn.
