Celebration of Life Service for George L. Smith, 73, are set for 1:00pm Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Loncar officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00am to service time.

George died March 8, 2020 at his residence in Adamsville, TN. He was born June 4, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to the late Forrest and Edrus Smith. He and his wife moved to the Adamsville area three years ago. He was a retired truck driver after 30 years, and then went on to be a forklift mechanic for 25 years. He was a Master Mason in Houston, TX. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bob Smith; sisters, Virginia Richey, Judy Harris, and Margie Ottman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherry McKay Smith; daughters, Margie Lippert (Lee) and Cyndi Hall (James); a brother, Jim Smith (Amiee); a sister, Karen St. John; grandchildren, Jorjana Finkerbiner, Destine Jory (Michael), Johnathan Jory Sr., Emily Jefferies (Daniel), Meygen Bourgeois (James), Nicol Wicker (Adam), Amber Scott (Hayden), Brooke Castillo; and seventeen great grandchildren.
