Mr. Lloyd Clinton Tidwell, 88, died Friday, May 29, 2020, at his home in Water Valley, MS. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 1, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Anchor Cemetery with Rev. Brad Burnett officiating.
Born in Lafayette County, MS, Mr. Tidwell was a longtime employee of Georgia Pacific. His happiest days were spent outdoors fishing, hunting and cutting his grass but the joys of his life were his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Randy S. Tidwell and Ricky Tidwell; a sister, Lorene Smith and two brothers, Buddy Tidwell and Elvis Tidwell.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Carmita K. Tidwell of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Debra Kaufman of Oxford, MS and Donna Redmond and her husband, Ivory of Gulfport, MS; a sister, Dovie Porter of Oxford; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
