Mr. Albert Carl “Al” Rung, Sr., 73, died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at his home in Batesville, MS. No services are scheduled at this time.
Born in Madison, WI to the late Sylvia Blucher Walls and Lester Rung, Al was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a PFC 4 in the 1st Airborne Division. He was a longtime employee of United Solutions and was an avid bingo player.
Survivors include his wife of over 52 years, Susan E. Rung of Batesville, MS; a daughter, Hedi Sue Richards of Batesville, MS; a son, Albert Carl “Butch” Rung, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and four grandchildren.
