Thank you dear God for the life of our mother Sarah Louise Burress born on
November 18, 1925. We thank You for allowing her to be here with us 94 years.
At an early age she joined SandhillM.B.Church in Baldwyn, MS. She later
joined Ruben Chapel C.M.E. Church Baldwyn, MS. She remained a member
until God called her home.She was preceded in death by her
husband, Rube Jr. Burress; her parents Buddy Price and Lula Andrews; sister
Eulene Price and brother Sammy Price.She leaves to cherish her memories;
four daughters Vera (Slyvester) Harris,Betty Burress, Linda Burress, Donna
(Jerry) Shelley all of Booneville, MS; one son John (Latoya) Burress of Memphis,
TN; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Hello Burgess Family, I want to say that I am deeply sorry for your loss and would like to share a scripture with the you. It is found at Acts 24:15 which says, “15 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Here we see that God, whose name is Jehovah is going to bring our loved ones back to life. This is a time many people look forward to. I hope this message is a source of encouragement and comfort for the family.
