Mrs. Ouida “Jeanie” Jean Gregory Harwell, 64, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her home in Poclocna, MS. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. at Webb Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Jenkins officiating. *In accordance with guidelines issued by the State of Mississippi, social distancing guidelines will be followed and face coverings are asked, by the family, to be worn. If you or someone living with you is experiencing fever, cough or other symptoms related to COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID 19 or are awaiting test results for COVID-19, we kindly ask that you do not attend.*
Born in Bruce, MS, to the late Jonnie Sharp and Jimmie William Gregory, Mrs. Harwell formally attended New El Bethel Baptist church in Oxford, MS. She possessed an incredibly big heart and helped many of those around her that were in need. Mrs. Harwell never let a person or animal suffer, and she could never ask of anything for herself. She was known to be very giving and donated to several different charities throughout her life. The honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Harwell are her loving grandsons, Daniel Harwell, Evan Bryan, Adam Bryan, Kirkland Harwell, Brandon Rogge, and Ricky Varner.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Danny Quay Harwell of Poclocna, MS; two daughters, Julie King and her husband, James of Oxford, MS, and April Rogge and her husband, Josh, of Paris, MS; two sons, Ronnie Harwell and his wife, Traci, of Oxford, MS, and Jeff Harwell and his wife, Mendy of Paris, MS; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous, loving nieces and nephews.
