Mrs. Pierce Elizabeth Daggett Buford, 80, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Oxford. A private memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church with The Reverend Ann Kelly officiating.
Born in West Point, MS to the late Hopson and Hellon Lanham Daggett, Mrs. Buford was the widow of Mr. Dorman Buford. She was retired from Living Waters of the World of The Presbyterian Church where she worked as the development officer. She was a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary, a member of MS Realtors and a member of the National Realtors Association. Mrs. Buford was a loyal member of First Presbyterian Church of Oxford.
Survivors include her daughters, Renee B. Trainer and her husband, William, and Frances B. Hays and her husband, Vance, all of Oxford and five grandchildren, Grant Trainer of Oxford, MS, Wesley Trainer of Chicago, IL, Reese Trainer and his wife, Kaylee of Oxford, MS, Carter Witt of Nashville, TN and Jay Witt of Nashville, TN.
