Houston- Mr. James Russell “Snake Doctor” Turman, 62, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his home in Houston, Mississippi. He was born in Calhoun County, Mississippi on May 21, 1958 to Joseph Winfield Turman and Vara Lucille Chaney.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi with Rev. Anthony Dean officiating.
Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Turman is survived by his brother, William “Turnip Green” Turman of Houston, and a host of cousins.
Mr. Turman is preceded in death by his parents and sister.
