Mary Evelyn Turner-Gunn was born December 2, 1953 unto the late E. L. Turner and Susanne Lipsey Turner.  She departed this life Monday, August 10, 2020 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  She was untied in Holy Wedlock to the late Joseph Gunn Jr.  Mary was a member of New Lebanon M. B. Church in Tupelo, MS.  She retired from Golden Living Assistant Living Facility in Tupelo, MS.

She leaves to mourn her passing; one daughter, Beatrice Gray; stepson, Crawford McIntosh; grandchildren; Jarvell Gray, Rockale Gray, Amaya Gray and Matthew Gunn; great-grandchildren; Nohla Gray and Braxton Johnson; siblings: Robert (Brenda) Turner, Erie (Minister John) Young, Lawrence Turner, Ricky Turner and Sue Turner and a host of nieces and nephews of whom all adored their aunt Mary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, her daughter, Denita Turner, brother, Willie James Turner, and stepson; Joseph Gunn lll.
