Peggy Joyce Mathis, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 – 2 PM at Cherry Creek Cemetery.
Viewing service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 1-2 PM at Cherry Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, 15 Aug 2020 – 5 – 6 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home-367 Main Street, Ecru,MS

Hello Mathis Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss,and I would like to share a scripture with you. The scripture is found at Acts 24:15. Here we read of a promise God has made to bring our loved ones back to life. This is a promise many people find comfort in, and look forward to. I hope this message a comforting and encouraging during this difficult time.
Dear Mathis, you have my deepest sympathy. The death of a loved one can bring great pain and sorrow, but in Gods word we have hope.
2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says “The God of comfort, comforts us in all our trials”. So you can to look to God in these trying times. Acts24:15 says “There is going to be a resurrection.” This is a promise from our loving God and you will see your loved one again. I hope this was a source of comfort to the family.
