Weston Axel Jernigan, 12 days, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. He was born on August 6, 2020 in Amory to Johnny Ray Jernigan and Bethany Nicole Morris. Even though little Weston’s life was short lived, he brought joy to many, but a greater joy is felt knowing he’s at home, safe in the arms of Jesus.

A funeral service for Weston will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory. Bro. Eddie Harlow will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny Jernigan and Bethany Morris of Hatley; one brother, Mason Meister; his grandparents, Ron and Tina White, Barry Jernigan, Etoy Chism, Anthony and Cindy Morris, Thomas and Nora Jernigan, and Anita and Steve Chism; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
