Asher Charles "Bud" Hadley, 83, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020, at NMMC in Tupelo.  He was honorably discharged in April 1955 from the New York State National Guard.  He then served in the US Navy from April 1955 until July 1974, he was honorably discharged from the US Navy in July 1974.  They lived in Iran for 2 years and he taught for Bell Helicopter.  They moved to Millington, TN and he taught at the Navy Institute.  He retired from FedEx where he wrote their maintenance manuals.

Services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.  Dr. David Hamilton will officiate.  Burial will be in the West Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.  Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors-wife-Lavonia Gregory Hadley; children-Kelli Nelson (Bob), Ricky Hadley, Vickie Hadley and Lori Hadley Mosher; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers-Greg Tutor, Scotty Pennington, Will Tutor, Keith Hodges, Landon Pennington and Chuck Patrick.

Visitation: 9:00am until service time
