Barbara Ann Loyd Kimbrell, 69, of Oxford died Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Miss. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family at Waller Funeral Home with Pastor Shannon Kendall officiating. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Barbara was born in Paragould, Ark., to the late Lola Mae and James Bervin Loyd. She was a former member of Moss Hill Baptist Church in New Albany, and was a current member of Church of Christ in Oxford.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Kimbrell; three daughters, Vickie Pruett and her husband Pete, of New Albany, Emily Echols and her husband Jeff, of Oxford, and Noor Pyarali and her husband Ismail, of Collierville, Tenn.; eleven grandchildren, Brian Keith Barnes, Jr., Jessica Barnes, Sasha Briggs, Katelin Briggs, Aurora Briggs, Patrick Echols, Hayden Echols, Colin Echols, Azura Pyarali, Ijaz Pyarali and Samara Pyarali and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Barnes and Eli Barnes.
In accordance with guidelines issued by the State of Mississippi, social distancing guidelines will be followed and face coverings should be worn. If you or someone living with you is experiencing fever, cough, or other symptoms related to COVID 19, have tested positive for COVID 19 or are awaiting test results for COVID 19, we kindly ask that you do not attend. For those who cannot attend, a Facebook live will be available on the Waller Funeral Home Facebook page.
