Robert Turner, Jr., age 53, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Mr. Turner was born August 15, 1967 to the late Annie Ruth Turner. He confessed to the Lord at an early age and joined Harris Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and just enjoying life.
Robert is survived by his dad, Robert (Evelyn) Turner, Sr.; two brothers, Tommie (Carla) Turner of Water Valley and Charles Turner of Memphis, Tennessee; three Aunts, Lucille Joseph, of Water Valley, Ona Mae Wright, and Bernice Willigham (William Earl), all of Davenport, IA; two nieces, Aijah Turner of Oxford, MS and Shanterian Gaston of Memphis, Tennessee; nephew, Da’kendrick Gooch of Water Valley and a host of cousins and friends.
A wake will be held Friday, September 18, from 5:00 to 7:00
p.m. in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. The service will be in the Henry Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Water Valley.
