Houston- Mr. Dezzie Darrell Huffman, 64, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was born in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on July 15, 1956 to William Max Huffman and Nell Collums. He was a retired plant superintendent at Stafford Furniture in Okolona. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Donnie for 25 years. He was a devoted husband, father, friend, and many know him as, “Daddy Darrell”.
Funeral Services will be held at Houston Funeral Home on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at with Rev. Kevin Linley officiating.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Houston Funeral Home in from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M.
Burial will be held at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Huffman is survived by his wife, Donnie Williams Huffman of Houston, one daughter, Terri (Blake) Curry of Guntown; one son, William Gage Huffman of Houston, one sister, Phyllis (Nick) Hunsberger of Nappanee, IN; and his niece, Marcia Wysong; his nephew, Zane; his great- nephew, Zach; his grandchildren, CJ, TY, Kellen, Beau, Braylen, Lawson, Hayden; and his great-grandchildren, Emerson, and Asher.
Mr. Huffman is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Barbara Nell.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Griffin, Dewayne Griffin, Caleb Naron, Sean Griffin, Ty Cook, Zakory Collums, Kellen Pumphrey, Larry Watkins, and Jason Smith.
