SALTILLO – Jermie Chad Ruth, 43, passed away September 6, 2020. He attended South Pontotoc Attendance Center. He worked in factories, as a security patrolman, and was a cable line man for about 4 years. He attended ICC and majored in Criminal Justice. He loved going to church and was baptized at Northstar in Saltillo. He loved his children and family and encouraged them in anything the wanted to do. He loved coaching them in t-ball, baseball, and softball. Chad loved traveling and going to the beach. Chad always was willing to try to help anyone in need. He was a volunteer fireman at Unity/Fellowship Fire Department in Saltillo. He loved listening to music and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors: wife, Jennifer Lilly Ruth; father, Jerry Ruth; stepfather, Billy Walker; children, Chanse Ruth, Coltan Ruth(Summer), Christian Ruth, Jeralyn Ruth, Ainsley Ruth(Kolten Berryhill), Lizzie Ruth(Preston Justice), and Savanna Loyd; grandchildren, Asher Ruth, Leighton Jones, Emory Berryhill, Kinlee Loyd, Braylon Loyd, Rayley Loyd, and Jayley Loyd; siblings, Chad Walker(Kendra), Shannon Wilson(Justin), Mandy Goff(George), and Alicia Craig(Daniel); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and honorary granddaughter, Amiya Boyd.
Preceded in death by mother, Phyllis Walker; stepmother, Sandy Ruth; brothers, Brad Ruth and Chris Walker; grandparents, Duane Ruth, Maxine Ruth, Carl Wayne Patterson and Jimmie Lou Tedder; special step grandparents, Debbie Patterson and Ann Wilkerson; in laws, James Richard and Sharron Lilly; cousin, Jessica Ruth; several uncles; and great grandparents.
Service will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Derick Finley officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 29, 5PM until service time.
