Shirley Ann Allen, age 79, of Water Valley, MS died unexpectedly Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home. She was born April 19, 1941, in Water Valley, MS to the late Lee and Sallie (Narran) Allen. Shirley was a member of the First Christian Church. Shirley led a simple life and enjoyed life's simple pleasures, such as crocheting, quilting, embroidery, and sewing doilies.
Visitation is planned for Monday, November 2, 2020, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM. A graveside service will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery with Bro. Brandon Winters officiating.
Shirley is survived by one brother, Earl Allen (Sharon) of Water Valley, MS.
Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters, Flora Mae McCullar, and Geneva Campbell.
