Zillian Mathis

Funeral service for Zillian Stewart Mathis, 94, are set for 1:00pm Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Davis officiating and Dr. Leonard Pratt doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Tippah Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 to service time.

Zillian died October 31, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born March 12, 1926 in Tippah Co. MS to the late Dug and Elsie Stewart. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clebert Brooks Mathis; parents; brothers, J. D. Stewart, Bobby Stewart; sisters, Vivian Porterfield, Nadain Brown, Mary Haygood, and Ila Lee Waldrop.

She is survived by her sons, D.W. Mathis, Lee Mathis; daughter, Judy Millian; brother, David Stewart; sister, Patricia Talbert; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
