Tiplersville- Mrs. Genger Renea Byars, 53, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her home in Tiplersville, Mississippi. She was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi on December 28, 1966 to Thomas Evans Byars (Barbara) Jr. & Melba Ruth Jennings Reed. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, and she never met a stranger.

Funeral Services will be held at Houlka First Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. with Bro. Patrick Collins officiating.

Visitation will be at Houlka First Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. – 1:30 P.M.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Byars is survived by her daughter, Shelby (Richard) West of Iuka, MS; her special friend, Donnie Newman of Tiplersville, MS; her sister, Thomasina Byars of Shannon, MS; her brother, David Byars of Shannon, MS; her grandchildren, Caelyn West, Braeleigh Haisch, Marleigh West, and Madalyne “Maddie” West; her nieces, Kaylei Baldwin, Brooklyn (Charlie) Thomas, Presley Byars and Montanna Byars; her nephew, Cole Byars; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Byars is preceded in death by parents Thomas Evans Byars (Barbara) Byars Jr., and Melba Ruth Jennings Reed, and a special cousin, Missy Rednour.
