Betty Susan Hyman, age 62, of Water Valley, MS died unexpectedly Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born January 3, 1958, in Blytheville, AR to Joe Stribling and the Late Betty Stribling. Betty was an outgoing girl in school where participated in cheerleading. After school, Betty worked different jobs eventually moving her to Florida where she was a security guard for a gated community. She enjoyed the work up until she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Betty enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors especially fishing. But her true joy was found in her family.
The family will hold a private service honoring her life at a later date.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Jessica Gorman (Tripe) of Fort worth, TX; her father, Joe Stribling of Water valley, MS; one brother, Steven Stribling (Sandy) of Blytheville, AR; one sister, Patti Lauer (Stacy) of Lauderhill, FL; and one grandchild.
Betty was preceded in death by her mother Betty Stribling.
