A service to celebrate the life of Paul Mills, 70, will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Brush Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Brush Creek Church Cemetery. Bro. Cody Hill, Bro. David Gifford and Bro. Jerry Childs will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time on Wednesday.

Paul died on December 20, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Amory. He was born on June 29, 1950 to the late Lloyd Mills and Overa Sue Null. He worked for Tyrone-Dana for 23 years and retired from the Alcorn School District after 18 years in maintenance. He was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He loved being outdoors and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, member of Jonesboro Lodge #250, Shriner and York Rite.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Mills; daughter, Tina Wilbanks (Randy); son, Clayton Mills (Stacy); grandchildren, Ella Mills and Reese Wilbanks; brothers, Leland Mills (Lynn), Thomas Mills (Jeanie), Lloyd Reese Mills, Jr. (Jody), Teddy Null (Denise); step-mother, Pauline Mills; step-siblings, Paulette Dillinger and Mike Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Mavis Sue Mills and a brother, James Rebon Mills.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Mills, Benji Mills, Eric Mills, Ricky Thrasher, Lynn Thrasher, Chevy Null, Kevin Mills, Jared Mills, Tommy Mills, Jeremy Thrasher, Timmy Thrasher and Dewayne Thrasher.
