West Point, MS – William F. "Bubbie" Ledbetter, 64, passed away December 19, 2020 at West Point Community Living Center in West Point. Bubbie was born June 3, 1956 in West Point to the late Neily Ferrell "Pete" Ledbetter and Doris Virginia Moore. He was a Welder at Thompson Welding for 20 years. Bubbie was an avid golfer who loved to hang out at Tibbee Grocery. He spent many hours just watching sports in general on TV though there was something special he had for watching West Point Greenwave’s football team play on a Friday night. Bubbie loved his family dearly and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Bubbie Ledbetter will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens in West Point with a private, family graveside service. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00am at Riverside Baptist Church, West Point, MS for anyone who would like to attend. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be assisting his family with the arrangements.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Christopher McCarter of West Point; two sisters, Deborah L. Turman (Steve) of West Point and Kim L. White (Charlie) of Cedar Bluff; one nephew, Carey Turman; special friends, Suzan McCarter and Carey McCarter; and his pet, Misty.

His parents, Pete and Doris Ledbetter, preceded him in death.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Ray, Gary Bartlett Jr., Jerry Nolan, Steve Portera and Ken Brown.
