Pamela Anderson Whittington

June 19, 1940 – January 3, 2021

New Albany- Pamela Anderson Whittington, 80, went to her heavenly home January 3, 2021. She was born June 19, 1940, to Floyd and Mary Blackman Anderson. She was a retired school teacher of 31 years, with the distinct honor of being named a Master Teacher. Mrs. Whittington had a love for playing Bridge in her free time. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 10am at Vista Memorial Park, with a drive through visitation to follow from 11am to 1pm at the New Albany Presbyterian Church. United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these services.
Pallbearers include; Mac Fennell, Joseph Fennell, Andrew Fennell, Ben Lawrence, Luke Lawrence, and Logan Lovvorn.
She is survived by; two daughters, Karen Lawrence and Laura Fennell (Mac); one son, Andy Whittington (Lori); one sister, Patricia A. “Patty” Smith; six grandchildren, Ben Lawrence (Susan), Luke Lawrence, Logan Lovvorn, Hannah Fennell, Joseph Fennell, and Andrew Fennell, and a special friend Roger Langford.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of fifty years, A.L. “Whit” Whittington.
