PONTOTOC – Harry Edwards, Jr., 67, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab. Harry was born August 7, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Harry Edwards, Sr. and Helen Burch Edwards and was raised there. He moved to Pontotoc, MS in 1993. He worked at One Hour Martinizing for 22 years before his health failed him. He attended Harvester Church for a number of years.
Harry is survived by his wife, Patricia Edwards of Pontotoc, MS; his daughter, Ranee Montgomery of Pontotoc, MS; his sons, Kevin C. Montgomery of Missouri and Kenneth T. Montgomery of Pontotoc, MS; his sister, Marrion Johnson of Jackson, MS and his brother, Wayne Edwards (Victoria) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Kevin M. Montgomery of Kansas, Nicholas Clark (Tyana) of Palmetto, MS, Devaughn Clark of Palmetto, MS, LaShonda Montgomery of Tupelo, MS, DeShawn Montgomery of Tupelo, MS, Davis Montgomery, Olovia Montgomery, and Amelia Montgomery; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Montgomery of Pontotoc, MS, Brenda Smith (Horace) of Olympia Fields, IL, Miranda Montgomery of Philadelphia, PA, Brittney Montgomery, Malaysia Hill, and Trevon Hill; his brother-in-law, George L. Montgomery, Jr. of Pontotoc, MS; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Pontotoc City Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
