Helen Marie Green, 90, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born November 27, 1930, to Edgar and Jewell Key. She graduated from Thrasher High School, and worked for Blue Bell/Red Cap for many years. She was a member of Carolina United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and anything outdoors.
A Private Celebration of Life service will be at Sunday, January 10, 2021, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Estes and Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Cox; one brother, Ralph Key; four sisters, Janice Whitehorn, Jolene (Perk) Perry, Pat (Terry) Henderson and Ann English; three grandchildren, Tracy (Mitzi) Cox, Brandi (Trey) Lambert and Brad Green; four great-grandchildren, Lindsey (Alex) Ward, Levi Cox, Travis (Paige) Taylor and Gracy Lambert; and two great-great-grandchildren, Marley Kate and Ivy Leigh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Green; one son, Jimmy Dale Green; one son-in-law, Bobby Cox; one daughter-in-law, Diane Green; her parents; two brothers, Max Key and William Lee Key; and three sisters, Lorene Lambert, Sheila Key and Shirley Barrett.
Pallbearers are her nephews.
