Funeral service with Military Honors for Walter Gary Foster, 71, will be held 2:00 Monday, January 11, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Doyle officiating. Family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 to service time. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Gary died January 9, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born July 19, 1949 in McNairy Co. TN to the late Walter and Virgie Foster. He was a retired truck driver and an US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his companion, Janell Byard and her son Michael Ray Smart; brother, Phillip Foster; one niece, Victoria Hamm; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
