Cedar Bluff, MS – Micha Shawn Josey, 40, passed away on February 15, 2021 at his residence in Cedar Bluff, MS. He was born March 15, 1980 in Starkville to Anita Laurie Miller and William Michael Josey. He served in the United States Navy for 13 years and in November of 2012, married Nicole Marie Spitler.
Shawn was a very loving husband, father, son and friend. He was a family man who loved doing anything outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Shawn was crazy about his pets and truly loved living in the country. He will also love being re-joined with his son, Aden.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Marie Josey of Cedar Bluff; two daughters, Ava Josey of Prosper, TX and Brooklyn Josey of Cedar Bluff; one son, Brendan Josey of Prosper, TX; his father, Mike Josey (Melinda) of Cedar Bluff and mother Laurie Jensen (Paul) of Alabaster, AL; one sister, Kristina Lee (Preston) of Pelham, AL. Preceding him in death was his son, Aden Josey.
