Ruth Ann Smith, age 79, of Brandon, MS died Monday, February 22, 2021, at Brandon Courts Care Facility in Brandon, MS. She was born November 24, 1941, in Arkansas to the late Tim Smith and Bertha Mae Griffin. Ruth had a loving heart and spent her time in life working with others in the Pearl day care facility, and also in her local community center doing crafts, and sewing.

Visitation is planned for Saturday, February 27, 2021, in the Gardiner Room of Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Services will follow at 12:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Childs officiating. The family has chosen to do a private interment.

Ruth Ann is survived by three sons, Milton Wallis (Naomi), Tim Wallis, both of Corinth, MS, David Wallis of Coffeeville, MS; two brothers, Mike Smith of Water Valley, MS, James Griffin of Batesville, MS; as well as one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.

Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, Dino Smith; and one sister, Donna Tarver.
