MANTACHIE – Alyssa Marie Boren, 17, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at LeBonheur in Memphis. She was born July 20, 2003 to Kristy Boren in Tupelo. Being born Down Syndrome didn't slow her down at all and she enjoyed life to the fullest. Alyssa enjoyed watching movies, blowing bubbles, listening gospel music, singing, dancing, coloring and singing You Are My Sunshine with her Meme.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Bro. Robet Honea. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Primitive Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother; Kristy Boren of Mantachie, grandmother; Ginger Boren of Manachie, grandfather; Mitchell (Donnie) Boren of Ripley, aunt; Kay (Mitch) Willis of Tupelo, cousin; Logan Willis of Tupelo, and great grandparents; R.D. and Geritta Boren of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents; Lois and Cecil Cooper, great uncle; Roy Cooper, and 2 cousins; Ancil and Shirley Moore.
