Mary Mize

Mary Lorene Petty Mize, 84, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born in Tennessee on December 19, 1936, to Russell Clifton Petty and Mattie Irene Rossen Petty. Mary enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking, and watching game shows. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jones officiating. Visitation will be Monday night from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton Mize, Jr.; son, Craig Mize (Pennie) of Booneville; one daughter, Sharron Mize of Tupelo; grandchildren, Kayla Greene (Eddie) of New Site, Cody Mize of Booneville, Kristen Broadus of Nashville, TN, and Sabrina Burton of Seattle, WA,; and seven great-grandchildren, Brayden Womble, Cadence Mize, Anna Womble, Macie Mize, Mason Mize, Benson Mize, and Brennan Mize.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Irene Petty a brother, Charles Petty, and a grandson-in-law, Page Womble.
