Jim Tucker, 64, passed away July 4, 2021, at his home in Cairo Community. He was born in Chicago, IL, on August 26, 1956. He enjoyed working on cars and dirt and drag races.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, July 9, 2021, in the chapel of Booneville Funeral Home. A visiting time with family and friends will be from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service. Booneville Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Tucker of Falls Mills, VA; daughters, Tanya Krabbe and Melissa Tucker, both of Chicago, IL; a brother, Wayne Tucker (Georgia) of Booneville; mother of his children, Kim; fourteen grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and best friends, Ray Holloway, and Billy Honeycutt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Donnee Wolfe Tucker; brothers, Bobby Tucker and Jeff Tucker.

Dear Tucker family, I’m sorry for your loss and you have my deepest condolences. The loss of a loved one brings great pain and sorrow but you can gain comfort from Gods word the Bible. Acts 24:15 says “There is going to be a resurrection” so you can see your dear loved one again. A promise from our loving Heavenly Father. I hope this was a source of encouragement for the family.
