Funeral service for Gary Lamont Travis, 78, is set for 2:00 pm Friday at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. David George officiating. Burial will follow in the Searcy-Odle Cemetery. Family receive friends Friday at the church from 12:00 to service time.

He died July 7, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health. He was born September 20, 1942 in West Virginia to the late Hank and Nina Travis. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he enjoyed going a fellowship with others. Gary was a retired truck driver, driving for A & R for the past 17 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Odle Travis; his children, Nelson Douglas Travis (Karen), Gary Mitchell Travis, Christopher Michael Travis (Bobbi), T. J. Alvis, Noah Richardson (Akasha), Haven Alvis, and Emily Marsh (JonScott); grandchildren, Destiny Travis, Kaylee Travis, Oakleigh Marsh, Maddie Essary, and Cooper Barrett Marsh; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be JonScott Marsh, Noah Richardson, T. J Alvis, Donnie Cole, Ed WIegers, and Jonathan Bonds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Probst and Fred Bronwell.
