Margie Cooper
Englewood, FL – Margie Eloise Williams Cooper, age 94, formerly of New Albany, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Englewood Hospital. She was born December 1, 1926 in New Albany to Oliver Williams and Cleavie Gaines Williams. She retired from daycare, but had formerly worked at Erwin B. Schwabe Shirt Factory and at Stratford Manufacturing. Before declining health, she enjoyed quilting, but more recently enjoyed reading and playing games on her Ipad. She was a faithful member of Victory Life Church in New Albany before moving to Florida to live with her daughter.
Funeral services will be at 1:00p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Victory Life Church with Bro. Mark Bishop, Bro. Raymond Bishop, Bro. Steve Warman and Bro. Jason Warman officiating. Burial will be at Glenfield Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Warman (Charles) of Northport, FL; three grandsons, Steve Warman (Renee), Mark Warman (Jeni) and Jason Warman (Heidi); and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis Eugene Cooper; and all of her siblings.
Pallbearers will be Gary Cooper, Chase Cooper, Darren Cooper, Myles Warman, Gavin Warman and Jadon Warman.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00a.m. until service time at the church.
