Iuka: Jo Ann Barrett age 61 passed at the Iuka/North MS Med Center on July 27, 2021. Jo Ann was born to Lawrence and Josephine Stanfield Simpson on August 17, 1959. She is survived by one daughter Courtney Barrett of Iuka, and one sister Carolyn Clements of Iuka. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren Chase Teeter, Austin Puckett, and Bentley Barrett. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband Danny Barrett and a daughter Cynthia Barrett, as well as both of her parents. I was sorry to hear about Joann. She loved all the kids and grandkids. She and Danny were good to me. I’m glad she’s not suffering anymore.
