Mary Katherine Gregory

Gilmer, GA- Mary Katherine Gregory, 91, went to her heavenly home Friday, August 6, 2021. She was born in Myrtle, MS to the late King A. Callicut and Mary Kerr Callicut. She was a seamstress in her younger days, but she maintained the position of the church sectary for more than thirty years at Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. where she was also a member. Mrs. Gregory loved reading, working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and spending all the time she could with her grandchildren. She was very loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
Services for Mrs. Gregory will be Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:00am at United Funeral Service with Bro. Mike Brazeal officiating. A visitation will be from 10am till 11am on August 11, 2021 also at United Funeral Service.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Hill (David) of Ellijay, GA; one son Ronald Gregory of Covington, GA; two grandchildren, Bethany Corson (Mark) and Lauren Horvath (Attila); three great grandchildren, Terra Jane Corson, Marlee Katherine Corson, and Lilla Kay Horvath; one sister, Martha S. Moss (Terry).
She is preceded in death by her parents, King and Mary Callicut, two brothers, Kenneth Durwood Callicut and Herman Allen Callicut.
