Services to celebrate the life of Tammy Barnett, 55, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Tammy passed away peacefully at Oxford Baptist Hospital on Wednesday September 8th holding the hand of her loving husband. Tammy was a loving mother of 8, grandmother of 16 and wife to the love of her life, Jerry Barnett for 34 years. Tammy was a stay at home mom who enjoyed spending every minute with her children and grandchildren; almost as much as they enjoyed being near her. She enjoyed her daily prayers and picnics at the lake. She looked forward to her weekly breakfast dates with her sweet heart and any time that she'd be surrounded by her family. Her sweet calming nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Rich (Jeff) of Ecru, Lindsey Brinkley (Sam) of Corinth, Megan Barnett (Ben Mathis) of Booneville, Beverly Davis (Seth) of Savannah, Kelsey Barnett and Ashley Morales; sons, Cody Barnett (Clara) Savannah, Jayson Barnett, Jeremy Barnett of Booneville and Ray Barnett; grandchildren, Halley Williams, Jared Williams, Braylee Baker, Jake Davis, Connor Brinkley, Alivia Brinkley, Gracie Brinkley, Jerry Mathis, Meila Mathis, Samuel Davis, Claire Barnett, Lee Todd, Remington Hubanks, Ally Ruth, Jayden Ruth and Autumn Mayberry; brother, Steve Foster; sister, Sherry Hanks; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Barnett, Jayson Barnett, Cody Barnett, Seth Davis, Ben Mathis and Jeff Rich.
