Mollie Ann Ellis Echols, 88, passed away on August 25, 2021 at her residence in Starkville, MS. She worked in the comptroller’s office at Mississippi State University for over 40 years and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Starkville. She enjoyed her flowers, and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin C. Ellis and Betty Thompson Ellis; and her husband, William W. Echols.
She is survived by her daughters, Susanne Williams (Roy) and Leslie Kay Echols, all of Starkville, MS; son, William Wesley Echols, Jr. (Betsy) of Portsmouth, RI; grandchildren, Lea Milton (Michelle) and Tyler Echols (Jennifer); and two great grandchildren, Anderson Milton and Peyton Echols.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville. Roy Williams will conduct the service.
