Clois J Wright

Clois J. Wright, 83, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. He was born September 29, 1938, to Clovis Allen Wright and Ethel Mae Fowler Wright. Clois liked racing, basketball and baseball. He retired from Magnolia Regional Health Center where he worked in the supply department. He was a member of Jacinto Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Visitation and funeral will be held at Jacinto Church of Christ. Bro. Windell Fikes and Bro. Danny Rogers will be officiating. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Virginia Estelle Wright; two sons, Randy Wright (Brenda) of Perryville, MO and Gregory Wright of Sierra Vista, AZ; one brother, Bobby Wright (Wanda) of Tupelo, MS; two grandsons, Tompall Wright (Aquita) of Byron, GA, and Dakota (LeeAnn) Wright of Perryville, MO; two granddaughters, Denise McClain of Perryville, MO, and Keely Wright; three great-grandsons, Justin Wright, Dylan McClain, and Avery McClain; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Wright.
He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Curtis Wright, Hubert Wright, Leslie Wright, Bill Wright, Jim Wright, and Donnie Wright; three sisters, Bertha Belue, Dorothy Bain, and Vera Fay Wright; and one great-grandson, Christopher Wright.
Pallbearers will be Tompall Wright, Earnest Lindsey, Danial Davis, Dakota Wright, Tommy Strickland and Jared Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will the Holcut Class of 1958.
