Thelmer Saylors

Thelmer Leo Saylors, 86, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at his residence in Booneville. He was born in Booneville on December 21, 1934, to Hermon Leo Saylors and Georgia Ceola Henderson Saylors. He worked as a logger for many years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his family.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Don Cole and Bro. Jimmy Burcham officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mormon Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Voyles of Booneville; sister, Mildred Howell of Booneville; grandchildren, April Saylors, Colee Ray Saylors, Logan Voyles, Cory Voyles, and Clay Voyles; great-grandchildren, Taylin Saylors, Tregan Saylors, Tatum Saylors, Tazlin Saylors, Baylor Saylors, Peyton Voyles, and Bingham Voyles; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Saylors; sons, Tim Saylors and Kenny Ray Saylors; brothers, M. C. Saylors, L. T. Saylors, Thermon Saylors, and Wythel Saylors.
Pallbearers will be Logan Voyles, Corey Saylors, Colee Ray Saylors, Jared Saylors, Samuel Howell, and Bryan Saylors. Honorary pallbearers will be Garry Howell, Jr., Kenny Saylors, Keith Saylors, Tim Voyles, and Michael Howell.
