Charles William Staggs

Charles William Staggs, 93, of Rienzi passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Gaston Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and working on his farm.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Milton Koon officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his son Bill Staggs (Marilyn); his grandchildren Michael Staggs, Dena Huggins (Michael), Josh Sparks (Terah), Becky Luker (Mark), and Caleb Sparks; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Lee Staggs and Nettie Lauderdale Staggs; his wife, Maxine Robinson Staggs and two brothers, James Howard Staggs and Franklin “Shorty” Staggs.
Pallbearers will be Sam McCoy, Tony Tice, Buster Green, Glen Williams, Gary Johnson and Phillip Moore.
