Johnie Ree Jenkins, 62, transitioned on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Methodist Memorial Hospital , Olive Branch, MS.

Johnnie Ree Jenkins was born April 14, 1959 to the late Johnnie Mae Jenkins and Alex Martin.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Taska Missionary Baptist Church.

Johnnie departed this life on February 16, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Garrison, and her sister, Gurley Ree Jenkins.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted children, Lucan Garrison and Sonia Garrison of Cayce, MS; her beautiful granddaughter, Tia Monae Moore; her loving sisters, Lizzie Jenkins, Beulah R. Hines, and Nola "Kitty" Garrison of Cayce, MS, and Mildred Berry of Memphis, TN; her caring brothers, George Garrison (Pearl) of Memphis, TN, and Ike Garrison (Dorothy) of Collierville, TN; a loving and caring future son-in-law, Kirby Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
