Bobby Ford Freeman

Mr. Bobby Ford Freeman, 70, died Friday, February 25, 2022, at Singing River Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Oxford, MS. The visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon.

Born in Bolivar, TN to the late Henry Ford and Evora Cox Freeman, Sergeant Freeman served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bobby attended St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Oxford, MS. He was an all-around sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. After retiring from Whitten’s Tire Barn, Bobby always like to be on the move, traveling with the love of his life, Debi. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Neal Freeman; sister, Martha Jean Taylor; and brother, Charlie Freeman.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Debi Whitten Freeman of Oxford, MS; two sons, Rob Freeman and his wife, Ashley, of Oxford, MS and Whit Freeman and his wife, Taylor, of New Albany, MS; and seven grandchildren, Donovan, Dalton, Chase, Gage, Drew, Max, and Charlotte.
