Orthia Lee Stevenson, 93, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born May 30, 1928, to Leonard and Annie Frances Miller. She worked at Booneville Hospital for many years. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and conversing with people.
A Celebration of Life Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Booneville Cemetery with Minister Tony Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home.
She is survived by one son, Bill Stevenson; one daughter, Betty Torrence; two grandchildren, Chris (Mary) Torrence and Derek Stevenson; and three great-grandchildren, Abby Stevenson, Marly Stevenson and Skyla Stevenson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Stevenson; an infant daughter, Annie Florence Stevenson; a son-in-law, Jimmy Torrence; her parents; two brothers, one sister; and one grandson, Jimmy Dean Torrence.
