James Robert “Butch” Williams,71, died Monday, April 11, 2022, at his residence in Tupelo.
Services will be on Friday, April 15, 2022 @ 3PM at Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo . Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Butch, a longtime employee of Wilbert Burial Vault Company and later, Doric Vault succumbed after a long battle with COPD. He leaves behind his wife, Linda; 5 children, Ronnie, Carolyn, Terri, Tina and Clay. 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Full obituary will follow.

Dear Williams family, one of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Did you know the Bible compares death to sleep? (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him, the dead are not conscious of anything. There is a promise of hope in the Bible. Our loving God has promised to awaken the dead, as if from sleep, and give them life again. Acts 24:15 says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” The bible offers comfort for those who are grieving and I hope this brings you comfort as well.
